At first, the book was intended to be a personal story about my journey battling imposter syndrome, however, it developed into something so much more. What inspired me to create this guide was my own experience as a Colombian-Palestinian female artist navigating the graphic design field and wanting to find a way to overcome those negative feelings that come with Imposter Syndrome. This guide offers an engaging and easily digestible format that empowers readers to confront and manage impostor syndrome. By presenting evidence-based strategies and real-life exercises, the story will help individuals build self-esteem, recognize their accomplishments, and develop a healthier perspective on success.

This is a valuable tool for all, whether it be high-achieving professionals, students, or any underrepresented groups who are prone to impostor syndrome. This resource is beneficial for educators, mentors, and mental health professionals, supporting them. This story was written and illustrated by Amira Saleh under the instruction of Matthew J. McGlynn. Using advice from medical professionals, this guide offers practical strategies to help individuals recognize and overcome these negative feelings, fostering a positive and more confident mindset.
